Hastings Business Support is a service business specializing in Resume Writing and Curriculum Vitae Development. I started the business from scratch in May 1996.

     As a published freelance writer and a freelance editor, I have an experienced hand in putting words and proposals together — plus a solid track record of good results in reviewing, critiquing, and editing the work of other writers.

     I also perform Editorial Services, Technical Writing, and Word Processing on non-resume projects for businesses and private customers. Counting my years in the business field before 1996, I now have more than 25 years of combined experience in these areas. Today, fewer companies are hiring full-time personnel for such work than in the past. To keep costs down, they often outsource projects as needed.

     The process of composition and refinement is demanding, and I am well aware of the tight deadlines that writers and job applicants in various fields are up against daily. Helping other writers make their material look and sound right is something I find highly rewarding.

     I provide these services in a timely, cost-effective manner. Whether you're a corporate CEO, solo entrepreneur, student, or retiree, I will help you present professional, high-quality material. With today's technology — especially e-mail and fax — we can get the job done without your having to leave your home or office.

     I wrote, edited, and typed all of the original material on this site. The testimonials, of course, are the writings of others. Although I am not a Web designer by occupation, I learned enough about Web publishing on my own, beginning in early 1997, to lay out and upload these pages myself. I have also had experience in laying out and editing Web pages of other business owners.
